"Slavery is a sin that shouldn't be allowed to exist... others saw it differently, slaves received food, clothing, shelter, and security during sickness and old age.  For abolitionists, however, one fundamental consideration canceled out every defense: slaves were not freeSlaves could not benefit from the fruit of their own labor"

The economic hardships we face today is enslavement. Our slaveholders are the secretive & powerful individuals who are directly & indirectly benefiting from the counterfeit operations of privately owned central banks as they carefully & unequally redistribute the wealth of the bailouts amongst themselves. Our "leaders" are aware our system is bankrupt, yet they do nothing to stop the injustice therefore the people are only left to take to the streets and fight back. It is the one percent who created  morage backed securities, debt instruments, derivities of security and leverage, It is no coincidence the bank owners took out insuracne policies prior to the collapse in 2008 when the stock market crashed. The masses was their insurance policy. This was intentional. People lose everything & take to the streets in desperation. No worries of course, there's a solution, this is why they created the situation in the first place: Forced austerity.

"Slavery was the rallying cry from Northern progressives who wanted massive social change, a salient issue that crystallized complex social and economic differences between the North and South"
Wave goodbye to unemployment checks, welfare, social security and social programs. Currency will be hyperinflated & the entire system will collapse. People will  lose 401(k), life-savings, pensions, & retirement accounts.
In 1829 Francis Todd took slaves to Louisiana sugar plantations on his ship, the Francis. When William Llyod Garrison accused Todd mistreating his slaves, he replied "Any man can gather up riches, if he doesn't not care by what means they are obtained. The Francis carries off seventy-five slaves, chained in a narrow place between decks."
You think you are free? Do you need a car, a house,  an education? In order to do so you need a loan so the one percent can LEND you the money, but with interest in return. We are constantly paying interest,  on our gas, school, car, home etc. We don't actually own anything at all, we are owned. We are no better than the slaves in the eighteenth century, we are just sold the illusion. We must critique the government and decisions that will affect the quality of life for all Americans for generations.
